Desktop Buddies Page


Welcome to the Desktop Buddies homepage...I'm glad you came.   Here, you will find E-Sheep, one of the best things ever made for a computer.   Also, I'm going to look around the rest of the 'Net for a few other desktop buddies.  If you know of any that I don't have, email me, and I'll put them up.

Just click the name of the one you want to download. 

***NOTE: you will need vb40032.dll for these programs to work. If you don't have it, click on the file to download it, and put it in the c:\windows\system folder. If an error comes up saying you need vbxxxxx.dll, (with xxxxx being the number) email me with the one it needs and I'll put it on my page.

I know these work with Windows 95 and 98.  As for other operating systems, such as Win 3.1 or Macintosh, I really have no idea.  All I can say is download them and see.


E-Sheep

This is my personal favorite.  A little sheep wanders around on your desktop.  You need to download this one!

Felix the Cat

This one is pretty cool, if you like cats.   Basically, it wanders around on your screen (as do many of the desktop companions...)

I'll put up a picture of it eventually.

Saddam

This one isn't really a desktop buddy.  BUT, you get to shoot at Saddam Hussein (did I spell that right?)

Lava Lamp

Lava Lamp isn't really a desktop buddy, because it doesn't wander around your screen.  It's a Lava Lamp (*duh*) which runs in your taskbar next to your clock.  I think it's cool.

I'll eventually put a picture up on this, also.

Tiny Elvis

Well, this is the Tiny Elvis desktop companion (burden...?)   Personally, I think this is really annoying (and I mean REALLY annoying.)   It'll be here when I can upload it for those of you that want it.
