	New addition – Construction Has Begun!
	A new addition to the Augustana Lutheran Church is be constructed this summer. The project will enable the congregation to better accomplish its mission of Christian ministry with our community. The addition includes: Accessibility to the basement for individuals who are physically handicapped Larger narthex for Christian fellowship and to welcome visitors Adequate space for the pastor and secretary Additional Sunday school rooms for the Christian education program Separate choir room to enhance music ministry Restroom on the first floor Update the heating system The project is scheduled to be completed in September. The congregation is excited about the building addition and the new opportunities it will make available to promote Christianity in the Gibbon area.
