I'm using my Heddon "Thorobred" #14, one of my favorite split bamboo rods - on a trip of a lifetime (in 1998) with my brother Mike and his sons.)

Lewiston Area Trout Guides

We reside in Lewiston, a small town in rural Southeastern Minnesota.

Some of my hobbies arise from the fact that over 50 trout streams lie within a 20 mile radius of Lewiston.

I am a 31 year public school teaching veteran who retired on 8 June 01. Although I have coached basketball, my real extracurricular expertise developed in theater. My last production was a cutting of Tom Griffin's THE BOYS NEXT DOOR. Our run with "The Boys" went very well: On January 20, 2001, we were selected as Three Rivers Conference Champions; on January 27, we were selected as Subsection 3 Champions; on February 3, we were crowned Section 1A Champions; and at The O'Shaughnessy Auditorium which seats 1742 people on the Campus of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN, at the MSHSL State One Act Play Festival (February 9, 2001, 4:00 p.m.), we were awarded the coveted "Starred Performance" for achieving Excellence! I also greatly enjoyed serving as a judge at the 2001 State Festival (obviously stepping aside for our entry). Final performance of "The Boys Next Door" was Sunday afternoon, February 25, 2001, on our home stage at 2:00 p.m.
