This is our Contract, mine and christina's.   We offer it here simply because we have found no other example of a Contract tailored strictly for VPlaces.    We use the term "liege" or "liege servant" rather than "slave" or "sub", for no reason except that we like it.   "Liege" can mean either the Lord or the vassal, but here refers to the latter.     Stuff in these yellow boxes are our comments.

Contract of Offer and Acceptance of Submission between Kyla T, Mistress, and christina k, liege servant. The Parties, Mistress and liege, enter into this contract in order to enrich our lives of mutual love and trust within the Virtual Places D/s community.

The following section contains lots of icky tedious detail that everyone assumes will never be needed.   It should be there, though.

I. Scope and Limits:
1.1	Extent and Duration
1.1.1	This contract governs activities within Virtual Places (VP).    Neither party is bound by these terms in life outside VP.
1.1.2	The parties do not intend to disclose outside identities, and agree not to seek that information from or about each other.
1.1.3	This contract is in effect when the liege has made her plea and the Mistress has accepted her, and remains in force until terminated as described in sections 1.3 or 1.4, or renegotiateD as described in 1.2.
1.2	Renegotiation:
1.2.1	Either party may ask for renegotiation of this contract, after which the other party may agree to renegotiation or refuse.   A renegotiation request is not to be a cause for punishment.
1.2.2	A renegotiated contract shall be completely written out, and when agreed upon replaces the original.
1.3	Termination initiated by a party:
1.3.1	The Mistress may terminate this contract by Releasing the liege.
1.3.2	The liege may at any time request a Release.   If the Mistress declines that request, the liege may if she chooses Release herself on her own authority.
1.3.3	It is assumed that prior to any Release the parties have attempted to resolve their differences.   However, before a Release becomes final either party may request a further attempt at reconciliation, with the mediation services of a mutually acceptable third party.   If no such request is made, or if no mediator can be agreed upon, the Release shall be final.
1.4	Termination by Disappearance
1.4.1	Each party accepts the responsibility to maintain contact, at least weekly, and to inform the other when this may not be possible.
1.4.2	If either party is missing without notice or explanation for more than three calendar weeks, and efforts to contact that party are unsuccessful, the remaining party may consider Release to be warranted.   That party shall make the circumstances known to an experienced Dom or Domme, and consider any counsel that person offers before Release is final.

Now we come to the good stuff -- our mutual understanding, mutual hopes, and mutual love.

II. Plea by the liege:
i, christina k, prostrate myself before you, Kyla T, and ask to be taken as your liege servant, and to be permitted to call you Mistress.
2.1	i pledge my humble obedience and submission to your authority.
2.2	i ask that you govern and control my behavior within Vplaces.
2.3	i humbly request that you guide and instruct me with a firm hand, and challenge me to grow, to learn, and to stretch my limits.
2.4	i agree to reveal to you my needs and wants, and humbly request that you decide how and whether these needs and wants are to be met.
2.5	i acknowledge my need for structure and discipline, and ask that you chastise and punish me firmly and effectively when needed.
2.6	i acknowledge that you are the interpreter of this contract.   i will abide by your interpretation of its terms, except that clause 1.3.2 is mine to interpret.
2.7	i offer to you my trust and my love. i will consider no other love within Vplaces, but pledge myself to you alone.

III. Acceptance by the Mistress.
I, Kyla T, am honored to accept you, christina k, as my liege servant, and grant that you may call me Mistress.
3.1	I will strive to guide you in your life within Vplaces.
3.2	I will govern you with a firm and loving hand.
3.3	I will do my best to teach you and to challenge you and to stretch your limits.
3.4	I will protect you to the best of my ability and be mindful of your safety and well-being.
3.5	I will listen to your questions and requests, and see to your needs (but not necessarily your wants).
3.6	I will let no other call me Mistress, except with your free agreement and consent.
3.7	I offer to you my love and trust.   I will consider no other love within Virtual Places, but you alone.
