Ikana Graveyard

Leave Clocktown through the Eastern exit. Call on Epona and ride her, jumping fences along the way. When you see the strange man on the cliff, go left, and get off Epona. Climb up and walk straight into the Graveyard.

Travel down the path and you will notice a large Skeleton, Captain Keeta. Play the Song of Awakening and he will leap to his feet, destorying the buidling. And will run away, daring you to catch him. So put on the Bunny Hood and do so. As he'll sprint pass gates, that will sprout flames if you try to pass. Defeat the pair of Stalchilds to go through and continue the chase. Slow down Keeta by firing arrows at him. If you manage to get ahead of him, you'll soon find yourself back where you first saw Captain Keeta. Find Captain Keeta and start battling him with your sword. After a few good hits, Captain Keeta will surrender. He will give a last salute and you are able to Hookshot onto the chest and get the Captain's Hat.

Put on the Captain's Hat and play the Song of Double Time to warp to Night of the First Day. Stalchilds will now roam the graveyard at night and with the Caprain's Hat on, talk to them to tell them an order. Tell them to open the grave. Once they do, jump in and tak off the mask. Leap over to the door, then battle all the Keese. Once they're all gone, light all the torches to open the door. Now get ready to face the Iron Knuckle.

The Iron Knuckle is slow, but if you get hit by it's axe, you gonna get a lot of damage. Z-Target and wait for it to attack, backflip and quickly make a jump attack. Repeat the process. Soon the Iron Knuckle will lose some of it's armor and move faster. But repeat the same process as earlier. If you have Bombchus, Z-Target him and let go! Once the Iron Knuckle's down, you will meet Flat, who will teach you the Song of Storms. Leave the Graveyard, play the Song of Double Time to make it day (or you could play the Song of Time and go back to Day 1) and go back to the strange man on the cliff.

TIP: Return to the Graveyard on Nights of the Second and Final Day.

Ikana Canyon

The strange man will ask for a certain mask. He refers to Garo's Mask. Wear it and a tree will appear from the ground. Take of the Garo's Mask and put on the Stone Mask and Hookshot into the tree. Dodge boulders and you'll soon reach the canyon. Take of the Stone Mask and go up to the dock and shoot the Octoroks with the Ice Arrow. Get onto the platform and Hookshot onto the tree. Then to the next tree, and the next. Soon you'll get to the top. Strike the Owl Statue and go straight, when you see a ramp get on it and don't get near the house because Gibdos (Mummies) surround the house. Find your way into the cave (don't even think of going into the Well yet) and walk near the water.

Flat's brother, Sharp will appear and put a curse on you. Before the curse slowly damages you, play the Song of Storms. The curse will be lifted and the water will arise. The Music Box House's waterwheel starts turning, playing a song. The surround Gibdos cannot stand this music and are turned into dust. Exit the cave and go next to the house. Place a bomb on the doorstep and hide by going to the side of the house (or wear the Stone Mask, see how handy this mask is? =P). Go inside and into the basement. Get near the drapes and a strange looking Gibdo will attack you. Quickly play the Song of Healing and the man will return to normal and in turn you will receive the Gibdo's Mask.

Beneath the Well

To get through this area quickly, you'll need a few items. First, warp back to Clocktown and get 160 Rupees. Buy 10 Bombs and 10 Deku Nuts. Then, warp to Milk Road and talk to the Gorman's to buy thier milk. Then, warp to the Southern Swamp and turn into a Deku. Buy 5 Magic Beans from the Scrub infront of Tourist Information. Now leave the swamp by going in the direction to Termina Field. Near the tree is a grotto/hole. Fall in and catch a fish in a bottle. Now you're ready so warp back to Ikana.

Put on the Gibdo Mask and drop into the Well. (Also note that there all Wallmasters in here so if you see a huge circular shadow getting larger and larger...MOVE!) From the beginning, talk to the Gibdo on the left. Give him the 5 Magic Beans. He will let you pass. In this hall, talk to the Gibdo that is on the eastern side of the room. Give him 10 Deku Nuts. Now keep on going straight until you see a Gibdo, do not talk to him, go left. Talk the Gibdo there. Give him the 10 Bombs to enter the next room.

In the next room, defeat the Big Poe by Z-Targting it and shoot arrows at it. After it's been hit turn around and continue the process. Then, place it in a bottle. Go back two rooms (same hall as the Gibdo that wanted the Deku Nuts). Give the other Gibdo a fish. Go straight ahead and give the Gibdo the Big Poe. In the next hall you'll need timing to get through. Once you're pass that, give the Gibdo the Milk. In the next room, light the torches, and a chest will appear. Open it to receive the Mirror Sheild. Shine light on the Sun Block to make a ladder appear, then shine light on the Giant Sun Block to get rid of it. You'll end up at the Ancient Castle of Ikana. But first warp back to Clocktown, buy a Powder Keg. Then warp back to Ikana.

Ancient Castle of Ikana

To enter the castle look for a sign. To the left of it, is a small hole. Go through and strike the crystal switch with your sword to make sunlight shine in. Shine the light unto the Sun Block. Put on the Gibdo or Captain's Hat (or Garo Mask...unless you want Garo's popping up all over). Walk into the castle and you'll see ReDeads. But because of the Gibdo/Captain's Hat/Garo's Mask, they dance. Now melt one of the eye switches in the the back left pillar. In the next room, turn into a Deku and activate the crystal switch by spinning on it. Quickly run on the lower floor and dive into a flower before the floor falls again. Pop out to make the floor rise again. Then quickly dive back into the flower and fly onto the pillar with a switch. Turn back into Link and step on the switch. Shoot the crystal switch, then run to the next door.

Get rid of the mines by hitting them with your Hookshot. Put on the Deku Mask and fly to the switch on your left. Remove the mask and step on the switch, and take out the Lens of Truth. Take out as many Skulltula as you can and proceed. Use the Lens of Truth to jump onto the invisible platforms to reach the ledge. Then exit. In the next room are Blue Bubbles, wear the Stone Mask and go through the door. Make sure they don't touch or they'll jinx you and you can't use your sword for a while. Climb up the stairs to reach the roof of the castle the get on the roof's ledge and walk to the front of the castle. As a Deku, dive into the flower and fly to the switch. Turn back into Link, step on the switch to make light shine.

Put back on one of the three anti-ReDead masks and shoot a Fire Arrow at the eye switch on the right pillar. Enter the room to battle the Floormaster. When it glows green, put up your sheild then strike it with your sword and it will split into three smaller hands. Use the sunlight to burn the hands into dust before they become one big hands again. And in the next room, Wizrobe makes another appearance. He's just like the previous ones but now he shoots a mammoth fireball. Get near him and use the Mirror Sheild to bounce back the fireball at him. Once he's gone, put on an anti-ReDead mask and leave the room. Make your way up the stairs onto the other side of the roof. Place the Powder Keg onto the cracked area and run for cover. Once it blows, there will be a huge hole in roof. Put on an anti-ReDead mask and jump in. Now use the sunlight to get rid of the Sun Block. Go through the passageway, and stock up. In the next room, get ready for a fight.

Before fighting Igos Du Ikana, you must first battle with his two henchmen. As soon as you can burn away the curtains with the Fire Arrow. Strike the henchmen with your sword and quickly shine light on them before they get back up. Once they're finished, fight the king. Fight him as you did with his henchmen. But he can also reflect sunlight back. So shoot him with an arrow to throw his off his guard. Soon he'll detach his head and it will start floating around. Don't make his head catch or his head will make you stand still, giving his body a turn to strike you. He'll get his head back on and you may continue fighting. When Igos Du Ikana has taken the final blow, he will tell you about Stone Tower. He will also teach you the Elegy of Emptiness, which can make up to four copies of yourself. They can't fight but they are good for weighing down switches...

Stone Tower

To the right of the cave is the entrance of Stone Tower. This isn't the Temple yet. You have to weigh down switches, while avoiding huge boulders and some Fire Keese as well as some Beamos. Go across and you'll see 3 swtiches. You must use this order to get across in time. First switch: Link; Second switch: Darmani; Thrid switch: Mikau. The next set of switches will reset the three blocks you used. Continue this pattern until use see three more switches and Stone Tower Temple just ahead. Slash the Owl statue. First as Link, play the Elegy of Emptiness of the switch to the left of the owl statue. Then as Darmani, play the Elegy of Emptiness on the switch to the right of the owl statue. Finally, as Mikau, play the Elegy of Emptiness on the switch in front of the owl statue. Jump across to Stone Tower Temple.

Stone Tower Temple

In the first room, be alert of the two dragonflies and the Real Bombchu. Go through the door on the left side of the room. First, get rid of the three Real Bombchu. Then, play the Elegy of Emptiness as Link on the switch near the beginning of this room. Then bomb the cracked wall. Carfully as Darmani, break the crates, keeping the two small boxes safe. Take one of the boxes and place it on one small switch. Same with the other. Still as Darmani, play the Elegy of Emptiness on the big switch and go through the newly opened door. In this room, turn back into Link and bomb the area on the floor that is a solid color. Go down the stairs, and use sunlight to vanish the Sun Block. Turn into Darmani and roll across the room. Open the chest to get the Map. Now defeat the armos in the lava and the ones in the same aclove as the map. A chest will appear with the small key.

Go back upstairs and go through the locked door. Turn into Mikau, dive into the water, and swim ahead. Now let the Dexihand grab hold of you. It will throw you onto a ledge. Open the chest there for another small key. Now get back underwater and defeat the Dexihand and go through the passage it was protecting. In the next room, surface onto the center bridge. Turn back into Link and now stand in the sunlight. Shine light onto the mirror for a few seconds, charging it. If charged uncorrectly, as soon as you get near the mirror's light, it will disappear. If you charged correctly, rush to the mirror's light and shine light of the Sun Block. In an acolve, defeat the Real Bombchu and grab the Compass. Now run back, and go through the locked door. Put on the Stone Mask and defeat all the Black Boes in this room. Now turn into Darmani and punch the column in the room. Now turn back into Link and charge up the left mirror of the second pillar. From there charge up the mirror on the wall. Then use the light to melt away the sun block. Go through the door.

In this room, turn into a Deku and hop into the Deku Flower, pop up and fly from air vent to air vent, avoiding the Real Bombchu. By the time you're near the third air vent, you're close to falling. If you timed correctly from the second air vent, you should make it. Go through the door and get ready to fight the Garo Master. With quick sword swipes and his jumpy movement, The Garo Master is one of the best enemies around. Wear the Bunny Hood and make him stand still for a second by throwing a Deku Nut or shooting an Ice Arrow (Deku Nuts are better). After you've frozen him, quickly strike him with your sword. Sometimes he'll vanish and try to crash on you so move. Once he's finished the Light Arrow will be yours.

In the next room, use your hookshot to remove the Hiploop's metal mask. Then shoot two arrows at it and move on. In the next hall, put Light Arrows over your regular ones. Z-Target the Eyegore and get close. When it's eyes turn yellow shoot it with the Light Arrow. Another hit should finish him off. Exit the temple and recall the red jewewl you saw when you were moving the blocks. Use the nearby switches to get the blocks in place. Then with the Light Arrow, shoot the red jewel...And things get turned around...

Stone Tower Temple (Upside-Down)

You land safely, but you see the sky below you and the ground above. Go back inside the temple and go through the right door. Shoot the Sun Block with your Light Arrow and continue. Then, turn into a Deku and hop into the flower. Fly towards the right air vent. Land on the ledge with the switch (Land on the switch, to reveal a chest with a stray fairy). Then use the next air vent to fly to the bridge in the center. Turn back into Link and defeat the Hiploop. Go through the small hallway and step on the switch. Go back to the Hiploop bridge and open the chest for a small key. Then turn back into a Deku and get on an air vent that will take you to a corner protected by mines. Land on the ledge and go through the door. Hit the red jewel with the Light Arrow and turn into a Goron. Cross the lava, turn back into Link and shoot the red jewel again. Go through the door into a block puzzle room.

First, put on the Stone Mask and look for an indentation on the ceiling. This is where the blobk should go. Shoot the red jewel and push the block so it's next to the central path. Since the path is raised, flip the room to get past it. Push the block again so it's on the same side of the room as the final place (the left side of the room) then flip the room. Push the block to the center tile, using the indentation as your guide. Then push the block into the indentation. Climb the block to get to the door. If you're low on magic and arrow, defeat the Chuchus in the room. Go through the door to fight a very familiar enemy...

Wizrobe's back and he's exactly the same as the one in The Ancient Castle of Ikana. But the ceiling is lava, so chunks of molten rock will fall all over the place, makeing this fight harder. Once he's gone, Hookshot up to the upper level using the revealed treasure chest and exit this room. Go up the stairs to find three Poes. Slash them with your sword with out Z-Targeting them. Then turn into a Deku and fly to the opening in the wall. Once inside, turn back into Link and put on the Stone Mask. Floating in this room are Death Armos. Soon them with a Light Arrow and then they'll try to squish you. So move out of the way so they'll kill themselves. But since you have the Stoen Mask on, they won't see you. Find the blue switch and play the Elegy of Emptiness. Go left and open the chest with a small key. Now go back to where the Poes are.

Turn back into a Deku and fly to the other side. Go through the door. Hookshot the mines so they clang together and explode. Turn into a Deku again and fly to the cave where the mines were protecting. As soon as you land there, sheild up because there are two flying vases will come at you. Dive into the flower there and fly to the left ledge. Go through the door and you'll be in a hallway with two Blue Bubbles. Turn back into Link and put on the Stone Mask. While the Blue Bubbles don't see you, raise your sheild to make them lose thier blue flame. Strike with your sword. Stock up and get ready for the next big battle.

The vampire creature surrounded by bats is Gomess. Gomess may be one of the hardest and collest mini-bosses you'll ever face. Shoot Gomess with a Light Arrow you drive away the bats, then quickly make a Jump Attack. Then raise your shield to defend yourself against his scythe. Keep on doing this until he's defeated. And you will get the Boss Key. Exit the same way you entered. And defeat those Blue Bubbles for three recovery hearts. Go back another room. Hookshot the mines and then fly over there. Then fly to the other side. Instead of going through the door, go left and enter through that one.

You'll be back in the first room of the temple. Jump to the Death Armos platform as Mikau. Quickly turn back into Link and put on the Stone Mask. Shoot the Death Armos with an arrow and take off the Stone Mask. Dodge it's attack and it will kill itself. Step on the switch and a chest will appear on the ceiling. Sink your Hookshot into it and walk through the hallway. Go through the door and battle the Eyegore. Repeat as the previous Eyegore, shoot it's eye with a Light Arrow when it's eye turns yellow. Your reward for destroying it is the Giant's Mask. Enter the next room and Hookshot up to the ceiling while dodging the spiked bars. Get across and get ready for the Boss.

Giant Masked Insect TWINMOLD

Twinmold is not one but two huge wormlike creatures. To make this fight even, use the Giant's Mask (which can only be used for this battle). Strike their heads and tails. The Giant's Mask also sucks up you're magic, so if you're running low in magic, as a giant, break down a pillar with your sword, take of the Giant's Mask, grab any magic bottles you see, and turn back into a giant. And remember now to go to far from the battlefield or else you'll have to start over.
